Title: Applications of Algebraic Geometry in Geometric Modelling.

Abstract: In this talk, I will present some examples to illustrate the applications of algebraic geometry in geometric modelling. Specifically, I will talk about implicitization of rational curves and surfaces, blending algebraic surfaces with piecewise algebraic surfaces, and computing singular points and inflection points of curves. Further research problems will be proposed.
