The American Studies Major

All majors take American Studies 201, Introduction to the Study of American Culture: Metaphors, Borders, Migrations and 301, Senior Seminar (topics vary each semester).

The American Studies Minor

The minor consists of a minimum of 16 credits (4 courses), including American Studies 201, Introduction to the Study of American Culture: Metaphors, Borders, Migrations and 301, Senior Seminar.

See the American Studies chapter of the course catalogue for specific requirements for the major and minor.
