Student Symposium at Kendade Hall

This month, the American Studies Program hosted the Seventh Annual Crossroads in the Study of the Americas Student Symposium.This year's event featured nine presentations from students doing theses at Amherst, Smith, and Mount Holyoke. They covered a wide range of interests, including studies of contemporary Bolivian uprisings, Afro-Cuban identities, and Asian American film. Mount Holyoke was expertly represented by seniors Judy Kim and Chrissy Horansky.
