COURSE TITLE Biology 206; Local Flora
PROFESSOR(S) Amy Frary, afrary@mtholyoke.edu
LECTURE Friday afternoon 1:00-4:00
COURSE OBJECTIVES

Local Flora is a 2 credit course, with the only prerequisite being a curiosity about the natural world. I am hoping that each student will gain a greater knowledge of and appreciation for the plants that comprise such a large part of our environment.

COURSE POLICIES
Attendance at all classes is required.

There will be a short quiz at the beginning of each class that will test your knowledge of the previous week's material. Plant identification will comprise the bulk of each quiz; however, botanical and natural history information presented during class is also fair game for questions. At the end of the tree unit, there will be an outdoor identification quiz.
