Marilyn Middleton - West African Dance
Marilyn Middleton is the director of the performance company Bamidele Dancers and Drummers. She has taught African Dance at Mt. Holyoke since 1994. She teaches at Greenfield Community College and the Charter High School for the Performing Arts. She has taught and perfromed throughout the United States. Sekou Sylla, principle dancer and musician from Les Ballet Africain of The Repbulic of Guinea, West Africa, and Ade-Bayo and Jua Malik of the Bamidele Dancers and Drummers provide the musical accompaniment for the West African dance class.
