Planning Ahead in the First Year

This is an event which provides an opportunity to join the Alumnae Association, Career Development Center, Center for Global Initiatives, academic deans, and dean of students offices for tea, pastries, and a wealth of information to help you plan ahead. 

1. Pick up tips from alumnae, staff, and faculty. They will share their experiences and offer advice on making the most of your MHC years, and particularly your transition from first year to sophomore year.
2. Enjoy delicious pastries and a hot drink - and take home a mug in your class color, your gift from the Alumnae Association
3. Learn about methods of networking (and then acutally do it!)
4. Join small-group discussions on topics including:

What you need to know near the end of your first year

How to land an internship and tips about traveling abraod

How to contact alumnae

How to use your women's college experience to your best
     advantage
