The European Studies Major
The major requires a specialization, competence at the 300 level in a European language other than English, and interdisciplinary course work concerning Europe both East and West, modern and premodern. The specialization can be disciplinary, regional, topical, or historical.
The European Studies Minor
A minimum of 20 credits is required for the minor in European studies, as well as course work beyond the minimum required by the College in a modern language of Europe.
