Film Students Go to NYC to See Experimental Cinema
Film students were invited to an event curated by Robin Blaetz, chair and professor of film studies, at the Anthology Film Archives on the Lower East Side in New York City. On November 6 and 7, 2009, Abigail Child (whose work was presented by Melissa Ragona), Su Friedrich, Ericka Beckman, and Peggy Ahwesh presented their own work as well as work that had inspired them throughout their careers.

The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society came to Mount Holyoke College to shoot scenes from the remake of H.P. Lovecraft's "The Whisperer in Darkness," directed by Sean Branney.
