Halloween in the United States

Assistantes Marie Faye from Dakar, Senegal, Annabelle Montille from Montpellier and Mauritius, and exchange student, Deborah Ferrand from Montpellier, France, spent their first Halloween with Mary Fanelli, Administrative Assistant in the French Department, at her home in Hadley Village, South Hadley.

None of these young women had ever celebrated Halloween. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they carved their pumpkins, made star-shaped donuts, and passed out candy and the freshly-made donuts to local trick-or-treaters.
