If there is time today, you will work in groups or individually on small projects that you can complete in the near furure and use in your classes.  Below are several suggestions to get you started.  However, if you have your own idea for a project that would better meet your needs, please feel free to work on that instead.
  • PROJECT #1: Take a look at one of the Web activities on the AATG site or on the textbook sites and write your own Web activity to assign to your students (as homework or as an assignment done in class).  Consult the list of Web Activities found on the RESOURCES or WEB ACTIVITIES section of the "Developing Web Sites for German Classes" page of this web site.
  • PROJECT #2: Think about the textbook you use and put together a list of Web resources that would help you introduce a topic or theme discussed in one of the chapters.  Consult the URL lists found on the RESOURCES page of this web site, or do a search using one of the recommended search engines to find sites.
  • PROJECT #3: Use one of the EXERCISES TEMPLATES and generate one or two exercises that you could use with your students.
IM PLENUM: We'll take time at the end of the workshop to discuss, exchange ideas and talk about what you've developed.  How will you use the knowledge you gained to continue to use what you learned in this workshop?
