Meet the Faculty

Mark Lauer's field of interest includes the analysis of interdependences between autobiographical genre theory, cultural politics, and findings within the field of memory research.

Karen Remmler examines how the Holocaust is remembered in Germany and other societies.

Contemporary German culture and the influence of immigration are focal points for Gabriele Wittig Davis.

Donna Van Handle has been honored by the German government and has won awards for her use of the Internet as a teaching tool.
