What can International Relations majors do after college?

The International Relations major is broadranging and versatile. It covers such topics as foreign policy, international political economy, environmental concerns, and international law and ethics. An International Relations graduate, therefore, has many options. Many of our graduates have continued to study international relations in a master's or doctoral program, leading to careers in academia, government, or in NGOs. Others have studied law and go on to work in international law and organizations. Some pursue graduate study in economics, business, or journalism. Our graduates are found throughout the world working in quite diverse fields. The International Relations major can be applied to almost anything and everything.
