Meet the Faculty

Barbara Garbin's research interest focuses on Italian women writers in the 20th century, with special attention to the their work within the genre of fantasy or fantastic literature.

Morena Svaldi is particularly interested in technological strategies to involve students in learning Italian language and culture.

Want to know about fascism in Italy, or Pirandello? What about Italian children's literature or an Italian "Miss Manners" who headed to Hawaii after marrying a member of the Hawaiian nobility? Ask Ombretta Frau.
