Summer 2008
This summer's group in mathematical biology will investigate
"Sustained Oscillations in Models of Interacting Populations".
Our work will involve specific application(s) to ecology and infectious disease dynamics
Required Prereqs: A course in Differential Equations. Multivariable
Calculus. Linear Algebra.
Beneficial Prereqs (but not required): A course in Probability. Some
experience
with MATLAB and/or MAPLE
