Pittsburgh Collective big band . Matt Haimovitz,
cellist joins the Collective in Sanford’s new cello
concerto, Scherzo Grosso, which is the latest installment
of Haimovitz’s “Buck the Concerto”series
of commissions for cello and unusual pairings.
