Guidelines for Use of Classrooms
1. All classrooms are kept locked when not in use. Each faculty member is expected to open doors before class begins and close up when finished. Classroom doors are opened by using the Onecard system.

2.If final class enrollment is larger than the capacity of a particular room, faculty should contact the Registrar's Office to arrange for another classroom on campus.

3. Faculty using mediated rooms should visit the classroom in advance of the first class to become familiar with how the equipment works. Call x3161 for assistance.

4. Rooms 101 and 109 are configured with desks in rows. Faculty who find it necessary to rearrange the room are responsible for returning the room to its standard configuration at the end of each class.

5. Faculty are responsible for shutting off all media systems which they have used, cleaning whiteboards, shutting off lights, and closing doors at the end of class.

6. If food or drink is brought into the classroom, faculty are responsible for making sure that it is cleaned up . Under no circumstances may food or drink be placed on pianos. Pianos are expensive musical instruments, not tables.

7.Pratt is air conditioned and heated and there are temperature controls in each room.

8. Because Pratt is home to the Music Department with many singers who need to breathe to make their music and who are sometimes allergic to animals, Music faculty prefer that you leave your pets outside the building. If this is not possible, faculty must observe the leash law. Animals are not allowed to roam the halls while faculty are in class.
