President: Eleni Karagiannis '13
Eleni Karagiannis

Eleni is a premed biochemistry major and english minor from local Amherst, Mass. In addition to singing in Glee Club (which is amazing!!!), she also participates in Chamber Singers since her first year. This year is going to rock for choral forces! Eleni's other academic and premed activities include working at a pediatric's office during vacation and conducting research. Eleni's favorite pastimes include knitting, reading a good mystery novel, making many Harry Potter references, and watching Psych and Doctor Who. So much Doctor Who.

Manager: Nerissa Sturrup '12
Nerissa Sturrup

Nerissa is an African-American studies major from Miami, Florida. She has been involved in the Choral Forces since her 1st year. Now that it is her last year at Mount Holyoke, she is thrilled to be the Glee Club manager (but sad to be graduating). Nerissa's interests include: reading, writing, pondering, taking social action, and singing (of course). She is also a member of Mount Holyoke's feminist a cappella group, the Nice Shoes. Nerissa's hobbies include climbing every mountain, fording every stream, and following every rainbow. (Nerissa really likes The Sound of Music). Additional fun fact: When she was little, Nerissa wanted to be Julie Andrews or the Little Mermaid. These desires resulted in her twirling around in her backyard and lots of splashing during bathtime.

Treasurer: Janice Shiu '14
Janice Shiu

Janice is a sophomore from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia! Halfway ro-ound the worldddd? She breaks into song randomly, yes. Glee Club is Janice's first experience with a choir, and she loves it so much; she is honored to have the opportunity to serve Glee Club for another year! Fun fact: Janice's very high-pitched, ear-piercing scream could be heard over the din that was Orientation 101. She enjoys green tea, TAing Gen Chem, reading, sociology, writing, chemistry, english, British English and geeky things. Janice wishes that there were more time in the day so that she could take more classes and be involved in more orgs. Alas, that is unlikely to ever happen unless she locates a Time Turner.

Eliminator of Confusion: Kelsey Schramma '12
Kelsey Schramma

Kelsey Schramma is a singing senior this year and is delighted to be on the Glee Club board. She is a chemistry major, music minor who devotes her life to attempting to balance the two. In addition to singing in Glee Club and Chamber Singers all the years she's been at MoHome, she also works as a PLUMS chemistry mentor for Organic Chemistry. This past year, Kelsey spent her time exploring the German musical culture and university choir in Leipzig, Germany, taking music, chemistry and geography classes in German!

Alto Secretary: Abby Robbins '14
Abby Robbins

After being an audience member of so many concerts, Abby Robbins is excited to be on the risers and a member of the group she's watched from afar. More than singing, Abby loves rockin' out to motown songs. She's been known to break out into song and dance in the middle of a store when a favorite song comes on the radio.

Soprano Secretary: Betsy Reif '12
Betsy Reif

Betsy is a senior from Denver majoring in Medieval Studies and minoring in religion. This is her fourth year in Glee Club and third year in Chamber Singers, and she has been really early for almost every rehearsal since first year. When not singing, Betsy can be found knitting, cross stitching, acquainting herself with Star Trek (for class purposes, of course), and spending time in the library basement researching an obscure medieval queen.

Audio Coordinator: Brittany Harris '14
Brittany Harris

Brittany is a sophomore from Connecticut. She is pre-vet and probably going to major in music. She loves glee so far and hopes to continue with it for many years to come. She also likes to be organized with CD orders. Other pastimes include drinking lots of tea, watching Bones, and hunting for chipmunks (not to hurt or eat, of course, just to fawn over).

Publicity Chair: Sarah Jane White '15
Sarah Jane White

Sarah Jane is a first year from southern Vermont, and identifies as a self-confessed syrup snob, grammar policewoman, and complete nerd. When not snobbing, policing, or nerding, she greatly enjoys making music of all sorts, from singing to banging on the piano to screeching on the violin. Her favorite subjects to obsess about are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who, vocabulary, biology, books, and pesto. As may be inferred from her love of grammar, Sarah Jane hopes to study English, mostly likely with a side dish of biology or chemistry.

Fundraising Chair: Audrey Maney '14
Audrey Maney

Audrey is a sophomore double-majoring in English and French. She was born and raised in Longmeadow, MA but now lives in Dayton, OH. Audrey enjoys writing poetry, watching Netflix, eating cake, swinging on swing sets, and Batman. In addition to Glee Club, she plays violin in the MHC Dorkestra, sings in Chamber Singers, and of course takes a bazillion other classes as well because sleep is for the weak. When Audrey is not singing Disney Princess songs in inappropriate public locations or daydreaming about her future life with Noah Calhoun from The Notebook, she is listening to and likely weeping over Billy Joel, the light of her life.

Webmistress: Marcy Rattner '13
Marcy Rattner

Marcy Rattner is a junior from Silicon Valley, CA. She is pursuing a major in astronomy and a minor in computer science, because she has been crazy about science ever since she watched The Magic School Bus as a child. In addition to solving equations, coding, and singing low alto II notes, she enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction novels, acting, discussing Greek mythology, and translating things into Spanish. This is Marcy's third year in Glee Club, and she will be sad to be gone in Spring 2012 while studying abroad in New Zealand.
