Family & Friends Weekend Concert: "Screen Gems"

• The MHC Big Band, Chamber, and Vocal Jazz Ensembles present familiar themes from TV and film, with music by Henry Mancini, Lalo Schifrin, and John Williams.
• Sunday, October 21, 2:00pm, McCulloch Auditorium, Mount Holyoke College.

• Watch the Vocal Jazz ensemble perform in this annual MHC holiday concert, also featuring the Mount Holyoke Glee Club, Chorale and Chamber Singers, Kimberly Dunn , conductor; and English Handbells. Traditional candlelight chant processional and familiar carols for the audience to join in singing.
• Sunday December 2nd, 4pm and 7:30pm (doors open 35 minutes earlier), Abbey Chappel, Mount Holyoke College. Free but limitted seating, so get in line early!
• Friday December 7th, 8pm, Old South Church, 645 Boylston Street (Copley Square), Boston, MA 02116. Admission starting at $15.

• Big Band, Vocal Jazz, and Chamber Jazz perform in our own annual holiday concert! Music by Count basie, George Gershwin, Chuck Mangione, Glenn Miller and Dave Wolpe.

• Jazz Ensembles of MHC, Mark Gionfriddo, director. The annual Spring Concert, a multimedia event, with music by Count Basie, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and Thelonius Monk.

• Friday April 11th, 7:30pm, McCulloch Auditorium
• MHC Chamber Jazz Ensemble, Mark Gionfriddo, director. A celebration of music written for and inspired by women, with tunes by Duke Ellington, Jerry Herman, and Johnny Mandel. Senior soloists from the MHC Vocal Jazz Ensemble will also be featured.

• Join us on Friday, March 7th, as we bring down the house with DIVA, the hot all-female big band from New York City!
