MICHÈLE SCANLON has been the Administrative Assistant in the Mount Holyoke Music Department since 1982. She received a B.A. from Elms College and an M.A.T. from Assumption College, and was previously a high school teacher of French and Spanish in Granby, MA and West Hartford, CT. She acts as support person to both faculty and students. Her responsibilities are varied, but her role as "eliminator of confusion" is the one for which she is best known. A native of South Hadley, Michèle has three grown children and three grandsons.
