J-Term in June in South Africa
2005

On May 16, 12 MHC students and Professor Bev Bell left on the traveling portion of their J-Term in June in South Africa course. Starting their trip in South Hadley, they headed for Boston for the 6.5 hour flight to Heathrow Airport. From there, they will fly 11 hours to Johannesburg, South Africa. They arrive in South Africa at 9 am local time (six hours ahead of us here in the States). Friends of Bev's will be picking them up and driving them to the captial city of Pretoria. While in South Africa, they will visit the Pretoria Secondary School and the Mamelodi Elementary School. Bev will be sending me information to add to this web site and we invite you to follow along with their trip on the following pages.
