Meet the Faculty

Constantine Pleshakov is the author of twelve books, including Stalin’s Folly: The Tragic First Ten Days of World War II on the Eastern Front.

Peter Scotto specializes in Russian poetry, Russian intellectual history, Dostoevsky, and the cultural history of Saint Petersburg.

Specializing in Russia and the Caucasus--Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan--Stephen Jones is an expert on post-communist societies in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

Edwina Cruise's research alternates between--and sometimes combines--her two great loves: Tolstoy and horses.
