Lynn M. Morgan Professor of Anthropology |
| Lynn Morgan is Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, and Director of the Five College Program in Culture, Health, and Science. In the summers, she teaches in the Monteverde Institute's course on Field Methods in Community Health, based in Monteverde, Costa Rica. At Mount Holyoke, she teaches courses in medical anthropology, sexualities, Latin American society and culture, and the anthropology of reproduction. Her research interests include the social history of embryology, feminist social studies of science, critical medical anthropology, and the political economy of health. Her area specialty is Latin America, particularly Costa Rica and the Ecuadorian Andes. | |
