Experience a Classroom During January Term

Educ 320j, Observing and Assisting in Inclusive Classrooms, provides students a firsthand glimpse into the American educational system and offers them the unique opportunity to work with children in a school site or other educational setting where daily supervised interaction is available. The course involves a three-week field placement in an approved educational setting anywhere in the country. Although this course is required for students seeking Teacher Licensure, any student with an interest in education may enroll.

Students considering this course should be aware that there are two mandatory meetings at the college BEFORE registration for the course begins and one mandatory meeting after the course ends. Students who do not attend all three course meetings will not receive credit for the course.
