Who are we?

A little about us future leaders


Chiara Davis Fuller was raised in Brookline, Massachusetts. She is a rising senior at Mount Holyoke College, majoring in International Relations with a focus in Race Relations in the United States. She enjoys dance and sports, which help balance her schedule and give her peace of mind. She recently studied in Ghana, West Africa and plans to return.

Patty Gallivan is a junior Environmental Studies major at Mount Holyoke College. She has a wide variety of interests, from stargazing to permaculture, and everything in between. She believes that together we can accomplish anything and looks forward to making a difference in the world.

Jessica Giusti is currently a junior at Mount Holyoke College, though she hails from the great state of New Jersey. She is a double major in English and Women's Studies and hopes to use the knowledge she has gained in this class to write a thesis next year in the area of women's public health. Thus, this class and interview were extremely inspirational and eye-opening. She enthusiastically thanks everyone for making this class such an amazing experience.

Alison Kruger is a sophomore geology major in pursuit of an environmental law degree. She strongly believes that the world has an enormous capacity for change, and has hope that her actions will effect some of those changes!

Christine Steady Ndiaye is a Women's Studies major focusing on Women's Health. Her hometown is San Francisco, California. Her interests are sports, and community service activities. She plans on becoming more active in the environmental movement.

Meghan E. Patrick is a junior at Mount Holyoke, majoring in Culture and Environment (a combination of anthropology and environmental studies), and minoring in film studies. Her hometown is Orleans, MA on Cape Cod. Her main interests include playing the cello, which she has done for 14 years, watching films, and being outdoors (especially on the beach at home).

Sara Scott is a senior Environmental Studies major. She was born and raised in Upstate New York. While at Mount Holyoke, Sara's academic pursuits centered around issues of human interactions with the environment and the idea of environment as power. After graduation she plans on heading out west for a while to see what adventures she can find. Eventually, Sara would like to attend graduate school or perhaps law school to further pursue her interests in environmental policy and environmental justice issues.

Lisa Sturtz is a first-semester sophomore transfer student to Mount Holyoke College, having spent her first year at the University of Delaware. She is hoping to double major in Anthropology and Women's Studies, as well as study abroad to India and Nepal. Her hometown is Harrisburg, PA.

Sarah "Serafina" Elizabeth Youngdahl-Lombardi, grew up in Chester County, Pennsylvania. She is currently a sophomore Critical Social Thought student most interested in pondering, and acting on how people can live out their connectedness with all in the universe.
