Graduate Programs
Mount Holyoke offers two programs leading to a master's degree. The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) is an accelerated program that prepares students for careers in teaching. In 11 months, students earn both a graduate degree and Massachusetts initial licensure in their field of choice. The Master of Arts in Psychology is a small, research-centered program that allows students to pursue graduate study working closely with the psychology and education faculty. Master's degree programs are open to men and women who already hold bachelor's degrees.
