Katherine Boyles

Harriet Newhall Fellow

Class year: 2012

Majors: History and Politics

Hometown: Harvard, MA

Current Residence Hall: North Creighton

Postgraduate Plans: I plan on being involved in the 2012 election cycle and hopefully heading to law school shortly after that.

Study Abroad/Internships: Studied abroad at Oxford University (spring 2011); Interned with the MassGOP (summer 2010 and 2011)

Favorite Professors: Joe Ellis and Chris Pyle are fantastic!

Favorite Class: Rethinking the War of 1812 (taught onboard the US Brig Niagara)

Favorite Extracurricular Activity: Field Hockey

Favorite Place on Campus: Skinner Green

Favorite Tradition: I love how elaborate seniors' costumes are for convocation!

Favorite Dining Hall Food: Carrot Cake

Favorite Local Restaurant: Mulino's Trattoria in Northampton

What did you do last weekend?  Last weekend I took my last trip to the beach of the summer and worked on a growing pile of graduate school applications. The location couldn't have been better, but writing applications isn't my favorite thing to do!
