Tours and Interviews

Come visit Mount Holyoke College—meet students, attend a class, sample our food, and get acquainted with our community while exploring our campus—which consistently wins awards for being one of the most beautiful. . . in any season!

Start your visit at the Office of Admission. You may attend an information session and then take a campus tour with a student guide. We also encourage you to schedule an interview for the day of your visit so we can learn more about your interests and ambitions.

Campus Tour: 75 minutes

Tour our campus with a current Mount Holyoke student. Campus tours are offered on most weekdays and Saturdays. Reservations are not necessary; however, we recommend that you consult the calendar or call ahead to confirm tour dates and times. Special group tours may be scheduled by contacting the Office of Admission. Tours begin from the Office of Admission, Newhall Center. Check map.

Information Session: 45 minutes

Information Sessions, conducted by admission staff members, are opportunities to learn about our academic programs, career preparation, the student experience, and the admissions process. The sessions include time for discussion and questions. Consult the calendar to confirm dates and times.

On-campus interview: 30 minutes

Mount Holyoke recommends scheduling a personal interview in combination with your campus tour. While interviews are not required as part of the application process, they are one of the best ways for us to learn more about your academic goals and personal experiences. We suggest scheduling an interview during your junior year or the summer/fall of your senior year. On-campus interviews are conducted by a trained student fellow in the Office of Admission. Interviews can generally be scheduled Monday through Friday and some Saturdays year round. Please phone the Office of Admission at 413-538-2023 to schedule your interview.

If you cannot visit campus, you may schedule an off-campus interview with an admission director traveling to your area or with an alumnae admission representative. If an admission director is traveling to your area and if we have your current email, we will contact you.

To schedule an on- or off-campus interview, please contact the Office of Admission. To be added to our mailing list, complete our Request Info form.

Student Athletes

We encourage all student-athletes to tour the Kendall Sports and Dance Complex and schedule a time to meet with a coach during your visit. Tour the Equestrian Center, just a short walk from the heart of Mount Holyoke’s campus. The facilities allow students to pursue dressage, jumping, hunter seat equitation, and cross-country training. The center’s visiting hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 am–4:00 pm. We encourage you to contact us prior to your visit. Call 413-538-2272 or email equestrian@mtholyoke.edu.

Other Visit Options
