Kavita RamdasFor the first time, Mount Holyoke will confer honorary degrees to an all-alumnae commencement slate, including commencement speaker Kavita Ramdas ’85.

Debra Martin ChaseDeborah Martin Chase ’77, movie and television producer and MHC Board of Trustees member tells students about how a liberal arts degree was "critically important" to her career. Additionally, she attributes to Mount Holyoke College some of her goals as a producer, "to present positive images and positive messages for all females," to speak to "the girl in every woman," and to empower big-dreamers and hard-workers.

Important Dates and Upcoming Events on Campus

March 29 Housing Lottery Deadline. Students wishing to participate in housing lottery must pay any past due balance by March 29 at noon. Now is the time to finalize financing to pay off any outstanding balance as loan processing may take two weeks or longer and funds must be disbursed by March 29. Students should check Online A/R Account Activity through ISIS to verify the current balance. Remember, pending financial aid doesn't display after February 22—students need to make sure all paperwork is completed for pending loans and other aid so that it will disburse to the student account. April 2 – Notification of decisions to students on MHC’s Universal Application Funding (UAF) program for summer internships and research.

May 1Financial Aid Renewal Applications Due. To meet the deadline, the CSS PROFILE and FAFSA should be completed online by April 15 (choose the IRS data retrieval on the FAFSA, if possible) and all requested forms submitted to IDOC by April 25. (Note: Not all students are required to use IDOC. Students will receive an email from the College Board if IDOC submission is required). Check financial aid online for specific documents requirements.

Ongoing: Applications for MHC Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT). Applications reviewed throughout the spring semester.
