Advanced Hunt Seat Horses

Attaboy Attaboy is a stunning grey 1995 Canadian Warmblood gelding that loves to jump. Donated by Tracey and Phillip Mactaggart in 2006, he is a fantastic, and handsome, addition to our program.

Caviar

Caviar came to Mount Holyoke from the Himmelstein family in 2006.  He is a 16h, dark bay warmblood foaled in 1996.  His forte is jumping beautifully around the hunter course, but he does assist in our dressage classes from time to time.
Clio Clio is proof that good things come in small packages. A small, chocolate mare, Clio has wonderful Holstein bloodlines. Clio has done third-level dressage and has a great “go” button over jumps. She was donated by Deb Sorosky.

Chandler (Perfect Fit) came to MHC from the Jackson family of New York. He is the cream of the crop when it comes to hunters. Being totally handsome and having a mile long show record, Chandler teaches riders the finesse of the hunter course.
Javelin Javelin is a dark bay Dutch Warmblood donated to Mount Holyoke in 2006 by Patricai Stempel. Javelin has a background as a dressage horse and frequently assists our dressage students in learning throughness and lateral work.

Karat is a huge asset to the advnced, beginner, and dressage programs here. While still jumping courses, this Dutch Warmblood's passion is dressage. He is trained through Intermediare I and still likes to show off his tempi changes.

Tops (Spindle Top) is one of the big boys here at MHC. Donated by the Dealy family of New York, this 17.1 hand Belgium Warmblood is the "beamer" of equitation flat. With his good looks and smooth canter, he is always the win.
Orlando come to MHC from the Chicago area from the Fornolo family. With sucess in the Pre-greens and Children's hunters in Wellington, he is a fancy addition to our herd. Personality and style describes this Bayern Wramblood as he flows through the hunter round.
Skip Skip is a registered Paint gelding, born in 1994 and purchased in 2001. Skip likes a soft hunter/jumper ride and is best known for his fabulous jumping style. Like so many of our schoolies, Skip has a very sweet disposition. Skip is ridden in the novice to advanced-level equitation classes.
Topper (Top Flight) is a steady eddie for the riding progam. After as short trip from Boston, he told Teresa Pinnell that MHC was the place for him (beacuse the girls were fighting over him). He is a fun addition to our herd.

Mikey is an Irish Sport horse who loves to jump. Bay with a big white face he is a student favorite for his game attitude. Currently CJ Law works and trains Mikey.

Gus (Top Hat) has a good time no matter what he is doing. Whether in a dressage or an equitation lesson, Gus teaches patience and strength. Thanks to Wendy Insigner for th donation of this handsome Dutch Warmblood.

Frenchie (Excell Eloi) came to us from Vermont and Barbara Thomke. This Selle Francis gelding toured Europe as a jumper before coming to the US to do dressage. He highly excels at both for MHC.
