Jennifer Wilda
Stable Manager
Email: jwilda@mtholyoke.edu

Jennifer Wilda became the stable manager at Mount Holyoke in January 2005. She manages a facility that is home to 65 horses, a combination of student boarders and school horses. The school horses are her primary focus, and she oversees all of their care on a day-to-day basis and for the long term.
Growing up, Jennifer was an active member in 4-H clubs, competing horses, dogs, and rabbits. She captured many 4-H state titles in horse bowl, horse judging, and oral presentations.
One of Jennifer’s passions is raising, training, and competing Morgan horses. She was the New England Morgan Horse Association’s Outstanding Youth in 1984. More recently Jennifer has taken a shine to driving and has been starting and training horses for carriage driving. Her horse, Green Vale Dakota Dancer, was ranked fourth nationally in 2004, and third in his zone in 2004. He also finished Reserve Champion in Dressage, Obstacles, and Pleasure (driving) in the 2004 New England Morgan Horse Association Circuit Championship Awards.
Since coming to Mount Holyoke, Jennifer has become an excellent rider over fences and continues to focus on dressage. We appreciate her commitment to diversity.
