Scecina on McManus: "Courtney comes to us from Immaculate Conception High School in New Jersey, where she was one of the leading scorers on her team. She has a solid jump shot and can score. She will be looked upon to give us some depth at both the post and guard position this season."

Before Mount Holyoke: 2008 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School. Four year member of varsity basketball team. Lettered in volleyball for two years. Captained the basketball team during both her junior and senior seasons. Earned First Team All-BPSL honors and Honorable Mention All-Bergen County accolades as a senior. Also named to Bergen County All-Star Team as a senior. Selected to receive the basketball team Coach's Award and participated in the Bill Willoughby Roundball Classic All-Star Game during her senior year. Helped her team to its first BPSL Championship in school history as a junior. The team advanced to the State Sectional Finals.
