2009 Lacrosse Blog - Week 3

by Rachel Kurzweil - April 15, 2009

The team had a pretty busy week with two games. We played the Connecticut College Camels on Wednesday April 8. Though we fought hard and had one sub, we were unable to come with a W. It was a hard game, but we came away from it being able to see what went wrong and what we can fix for the next game.

The following day, we had a more relaxed captain's practice to work on communication and stick skills. It was really good for the team and was a nice way to let loose while also practicing. We had a regular practice on Friday and prepared for our game against
Wellesley on April 10. Not only was it a great practice full of focus and intensity, but we also went out for ice cream as a team.

After a team breakfast Saturday morning, we headed off to Wellesley. It was cold and rainy, but we fought through the weather. Though we did not come out with a win, we fought hard until the end of the game. We had two very hard games against two good teams. I think we can come out of this past week having learned from our mistakes and ready to play against Springfield and MIT.
