 Tennis Tips Roger Williams in Season Finale, 5-4
Playing in its final match of the 2007-08 campaign, the Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team edged host Roger Williams University 5-4 this afternoon in Bristol, R.I. With the victory, the Lyons concluded their spring slate with a record of 4-5. They closed out the year with three wins in their final four outings.

In a match that lasted nearly five hours, the Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team came away with a thrilling 5-4 triumph over Springfield College today in South Hadley, Mass. With the win, the Lyons improved to 2-0 in contests versus Springfield this season. Mount Holyoke edged the Pride 6-3 when the two squads tangled in the fall.

Fueled by a singles sweep, the Bates College women's tennis team picked up an 8-1 victory over Mount Holyoke College this morning at the Mount Holyoke Indoor Courts. It was the Bobcats third consecutive win over the Lyons.

The Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 triumph over Colby-Sawyer College today at the Mount Holyoke Indoor Tennis Courts. It was the Lyons second win of the spring season. They now own a perfect 4-0 mark versus the Chargers all-time.

The Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team split a pair of matches today to secure a fourth place finish at the 2008 Seven Sisters Championship. After picking up a 3-2 victory over Smith College, the Lyons were edged 3-2 by Bryn Mawr College.

The Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team opened its 2007-08 spring slate with a heartbreaking 5-4 setback versus SUNY New Paltz today in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. After taking two of the three doubles matches, the Lyons dropped four of six on the singles side.
March 17, 2008 Fall Academic All-Conference Squads Named by NEWMAC
The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) recently announced its 2007 Fall Academic All-Conference Teams. Twenty-five Mount Holyoke College student-athletes were recognized for their achievements in their respective sports as well as in the classroom. Academic All-Conference Teams were selected for the sports of cross country, field hockey, soccer, tennis and volleyball.

Babson Upends Mount Holyoke, 5-1
The third seeded Babson College women's tennis team defeated sixth seeded Mount Holyoke College 5-1 in opening round action of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament today at Wellesley College. With the win, the Beavers advanced to the semifinal round of the championship, where they will face off against second seeded MIT tomorrow on their home court beginning at 2:00 p.m. Mount Holyoke wrapped up its fall slate with an overall record of 3-8 and a league mark of 2-5.

Six individuals and three doubles pairings represented the Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team in this weekend's New England Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament. All nine of the Lyons entrants fell in the opening rounds of their respective flights.

The Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team breezed to an 8-1 victory over Clark University this afternoon in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action at the Mount Holyoke Tennis Courts. It was the Lyons second league triumph of the season. With the loss, Clark remained winless in Conference play.

The Simmons College women's tennis team overcame a 2-1 deficit to down Mount Holyoke College 7-2 this afternoon in non-conference action at the Winsor School Courts. It was the Sharks second straight win and eighth in their last nine outings.

The Wellesley College women's tennis team sprinted to a 9-0 victory over Mount Holyoke College this afternoon in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action at the Mount Holyoke Tennis Courts.
With the win, the Blue remained perfect in league play. The three time reigning NEWMAC champions earned their 13th straight win over the Lyons.

The Mount Holyoke College women's tennis team earned a dramatic 6-3 victory over New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) foe Springfield College this afternoon at Appleton Courts. The Lyons trailed 3-0 after doubles play but rebounded to sweep the singles matches en route to their first league win of the 2007 campaign.

The Wheaton College women's tennis team edged Mount Holyoke College 5-4 this afternoon at the Mount Holyoke Tennis Courts. After taking two of the three doubles matches, the guests recorded three points on the singles side to secure their seventh win of the season.

The Connecticut College women's tennis team picked up an 8-1 victory over Mount Holyoke College this afternoon in non-conference action at the Mount Holyoke Tennis Courts. It was the Camels first triumph of the 2007-08 campaign and sixth straight over the Lyons.
