Major: Art History

Latest accomplishments in cross-country: Placed 97th at the 2006 and 2007 NCAA Regionals and 65th at the 2005 championships.

Best thing about MHC cross-country: The drive my teammates have to persevere is inspiring.

Best thing about Mount Holyoke: The great academic opportunities.

Sports played in high school: Cross-country and track and field.

High school accomplishments in cross-country: Ranked 15th in districts (2003); league and district championship team (2003); regional championship (2001-03); state finalist (2001); team cocaptain (2003-04).

Other interests: Painting, drawing, sleeping, and eating.

Latest accomplishments in cross-country: Placed 104th at the 2005 NCAA Regional Championships.

Best thing about MHC cross-country: The dedicated coaches and supportive teammates who are willing to go the distance to see others achieve their personal goals.

Best thing about Mount Holyoke: The diverse student body and friendly atmosphere.

Sports played in high school: Cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track.

High school accomplishments in cross-country: Team captain; Coach's Award; All-Western Mass. First and Second Team; Top 20 in Western Mass. Championships; ranked 73rd in the state.

Other interests: Reading, relaxing, and being with friends.

Latest accomplishments in cross-country/track: Completed my first season of cross country;  Set a new school record in the steeplechase in 2007 (12:49.7)

Best thing about MHC cross-country: The people! I didn't start running competitively until spring of my sophomore year at Mount Holyoke. My amazing teammates and coaches have provided friendship and support which has greatly improve every aspect of my life.

Best thing about Mount Holyoke: The beautiful campus and endless opportunity through the valley to meet so many different interests.

Sports played in high school: Softball and swimming

Other interests: Road and mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding, kayaking, rock climbing, the great outdoors, and being unpredictable.

Latest accomplishments in cross-country: 109th at NCAA Div. III Championships (24:54.1)

Best thing about MHC cross-country: The team! Meeting other cross country athletes not only introduced me to some of my closest friends at MHC, but also provided a great community that helped me to perform to the best of my ability.  

Best thing about Mount Holyoke: The community and the atmosphere -- everyone here has such a unique, wonderful story. It is a great place to learn academically. With the help of this environment you can explore things you never thought you would.

High school athletic accomplishments: All-Conference honors in cross country and track & field

Other interests: Playing piano, reading, traveling for mission work with my family
