June Carter Perry: "Pre- and Post-Independence in Africa"
In Cleveland L-1: As part of Black History Month, former Ambassador June Carter Perry will discuss Africa's history and future in her lecture, 'Pre- and Post-Independence in Africa: Culture, Human Rights, and Growth.' Perry is this year's Cyrus Vance Visiting Professor of International Relations at MHC. This lecture, which is free and open to the public, is part of a series of events honoring Black History Month. Blue Sky Brainstorm: Envisioning Sustainability for the Five ...
In Dwight 201: The Five College Board of Directors is looking for ideas for new initiatives and programs in academic, cocurricular,and operational aspects of sustainability. To that end, all members of the MHC campus community areinvited to meet and brainstorm ideas for incorporating sustainability into the campus, the consortium, and the community. Ideas can also be submitted directly to Five Colleges.

As part of The Year of Wendy Wasserstein,three playwrights will offer an intimate look into the culture ofplaywriting in America and the influence of Wendy Wasserstein ’71 at theevent “Uncommon Playwrights: Three Renowned American Dramatists Reflect on Wendy Wasserstein's Legacy.”The panel will feature Pulitzer Prize winners Suzan-Lori Parks ’85 and Marsha Norman, and Christopher Durang. This event is free and open to the public.
