This is a conference and forum for those who identify as women of color. This year?s theme, "Strength, Courage and Wisdom: Capturing the Entrepreneurial Spirit," will offer a dynamic weekend of exploring our dreams and supporting one another in making a difference in our communities--and the world. What remains in the aftermath of the peaceful revolution that brought down East Germany? Focusing on the terrain of memory and denial and on his own experience in the former German Democratic Republic, the talk will be given in conjunction with an exhibition of 14 posters titled "Ortszeit/Local Time," featuring the work of the German photographer Stefan Koppelmann.
