Updated Athletic Facilities—$15 million
Outdoor Track and Synthetic Turf Field with Lights
The track and field—an outdoor synthetic turf field with lights, surrounded by an eight-lane track with a nine-lane straightaway—was opened last fall, allowing MHC to host NCAA-sanctioned events and the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) competitions for the first time in a decade.

Boathouse
Crew has grown to one of the College’s largest varsity
teams (80 students are on the roster in a typical fall;
50 compete in the spring). We need a boathouse to provide
space for all these athletes, to increase indoor boat
storage space for the entire fleet, and to help recruit
top students to the program. Many secondary schools
and most competitive college programs have modernized
facilities.

Complex Renovations
Up-to-date athletic facilities are increasingly
important and play a significant competitive role in
recruiting applicants. Renovations to the complex include new dance studios, a 200-seat studio theatre, and a technologically advanced fitness center.
