Legacy of Diversity
The Legacy of Diversity fundraising initiative offers women of color a distinct voice with the Campaign for Mount Holyoke. Bringing together thousands of ALANA (African American, Latina, Asian American, and Native American) alumnae together, the Legacy of Diversity honors the pioneering women of the past, while opening doors for the future.
Cochaired by Mindy McWilliams Lewis ’75 and Chau
Ly ’97, the initiative seeks to raise $3 million for the Campaign, a goal that the cochairs are hopeful will be surpassed. Gifts can be designated to endowed funds supporting ALANA students, The Mount Holyoke Fund, or other areas.
"Mount Holyoke was where I learned that being a woman is truly empowering. The obstacles that I will inevitably face as both a woman and as a woman of color in society and the workplace will only build character and strengthen my resolve to reach new heights for my gender."
