Eleanor Chang is Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing for United Commercial Bank, a leading bank in the United States serving Chinese communities and American companies doing business in Greater China.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of marketing and management, Ms. Chang is responsible for the execution of UCB’s marketing initiatives including advertising, public relations and customer service quality for the $13 billion bank with more than 70 branches and offices in six states in the U.S., Hong Kong, Taipei and China.
Before joining UCB, Ms. Chang served as the Managing Director of DAE Advertising, a full service advertising agency focused on building brand awareness for U.S. companies in the Asian American market.
Ms. Chang also spent 12 years at Bank of America in various positions including Manager of Asian Consumer Marketing. She began her career at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York.
An active member of the San Francisco community, she currently serves on the board of North East Medical Services in San Francisco. She had also served as a board member of the Schools of the Sacred Heart, the Chinese Culture Foundation of San Francisco, the San Francisco Boys Chorus, Chinese Newcomers Service Center and the Asian Business League of San Francisco.
A native of Hong Kong, Ms. Chang is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College (Class of 1978.) She received her MBA degree from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie-Mellon University.
