Elizabeth A. Palmer ‘76

Elizabeth Palmer graduated from Mount Holyoke with an A.B., magna cum laude, in Political Science, where she was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her M.B.A in Finance from Columbia University.
She has spent her 27-year career in the investment management business in various capacities including analyst, portfolio manager and product specialist positions. She is currently engaged as Senior Managing Director of Global Institutional Product Management and Marketing at MFS, a Boston-based money investment firm specializing in managing stock and bond portfolios for individuals and institutions around the world. In this role she and her team have overall responsibility for developing and offering appropriate investment strategies to MFS’ global institutional client base, including pension plans, subadvisory, public funds and sovereign wealth funds. She also serves on the board of the Heritage Trust Company, which oversees MFS’ collective investment trusts.
Prior firms with which she was associated include GMO, PanAgora Asset Management Colonial Management, and Drexel Burnham Lambert. Betsy currently serves on the investment management committee for the College. She and her husband, Thomas E. Reilly, Jr. have three daughters and reside in Boston, Massachusetts.
