Susan d'Olive Mozena '67

2007–2012
 Susan d’Olive Mozena graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1967 with a major in political science.  She received a masters degree in teaching from Northwestern University in 1968, and a masters degree in health services administration from the School of Public Health of The University of Michigan in 1984.  Susan has devoted her professional life to health care and human services management.  She is currently interim director of Behavioral Health for Henry Ford Cottage Hospital, in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan while she completes her masters in divinity degree at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, in preparation for ordination as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  

Susan has been president of her MHC class and of the Mount Holyoke College Club of Detroit.  She has served as reunion gift chair for her class, as a capital campaign volunteer, and as class reunion co-chair.  She has also spent many years as an admission volunteer in the Detroit area, has served on Alumnae Association committees, and has been a member of the Alumnae Association Board of Directors.  In 2002, at her 35th reunion, Susan received the Alumnae Medal of Honor. 

Susan has been an active volunteer in her community and in her professional life.  She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a member of that body’s Regent’s Advisory Council in southeastern Michigan.  Currently she serves as vice chair of the Board of Directors of Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, and is on the executive committee of the Board of Directors of Services for Older Citizens in Grosse Pointe.  In 2002, Susan received the Woman of Faith Award from the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  Susan resides in Grosse Pointe Farms with her husband, John.  They have two grown children, and three grandchildren.
