Been provoked, challenged, moved, or inspired lately?
In all seasons, the College's calendar is a full one. World-class poets, politicians, scholars, singers, and other newsmakers regularly visit Mount Holyoke. On any given night, you can listen to great minds discussing everything from women in film to the controversies surrounding cloning. Mount Holyoke also regularly hosts performances by headlining entertainers. Recent visitors to Mount Holyoke include:

M.I.A., vocalist/songwriter/visual artist Gail Collins, New York Times editor David Sedaris, humorist and best-selling author Amy Goodman, host and executive producer, Democracy Now! Trisha Brown, choreographer Jonathan Kozol, author and educator Winona LaDuke, author and native American rights activist Kanye West, rap artist Naomi Tutu, human rights activist Ann Hamilton, installation artist Gro Brundtland, former director general of the World Health Organization, three-time prime minister of Norway, and chair of the World Commission on Environment and Development Marga Gomez, comedian Rami Khouri, internationally syndicated political columnist Ousmane Sembène, Senegalese filmmaker Michael Singer, artist and environmental designer
