Blanchard Café,
located on the ground floor of our newly renovated Blanchard Campus
Center, is another dining option for students on the board plan
and is open to any of our staff, faculty or non-board students.
The Café features our signature freshly baked brick oven
pizzas and calzones, Culinary Classics sauté and Salad Sensations
stations, a nice variety of freshly made sandwiches, salads, soups,
charbroiled and grilled items, desserts, appetizers, grab n' go
options, Edy's soft serve ice cream and yogurt, and popular sodas,
convenience items, and beverages. Each station features a daily
special and the grill station has low carbohydrate alternatives.
Any full board student can dine in Blanchard Café for lunch
or dinner. Students can now enjoy more expanded meal hours if they
cannot make the meal times in our other dining locations. Full board
students can also use their Dining Dollar$ or cash to purchase any
items in the Café. All students have the option to open a
MHCXpress Account (debit account) or use cash for payment of purchases
in the Café.
The meal hours for lunch and dinner for the board plan are:
- Lunch: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Dinner: 4:00 PM - 12:00 midnight
A meal on the board plan in the Café has a cash value of
up to $6.75 in board dollars for lunch and dinner. Students get
to choose which menu items they wish to purchase for up to $6.75.
Since this is counted as a meal, all items that you wish to include
in that meal, need to be purchased at that time. If your items total
more than the designated amount, the difference will be deducted
from your Dining Dollar$ Account, and then when that is depleted,
your MHCXpress Account. You can also pay cash.

Uncommon Grounds
Coffee Bar
Uncommon Grounds, a coffee bar located on the main floor of Blanchard
Campus Center, offers a variety of coffees and coffee drinks—cappuccino,
espresso, latte, and mochas—as well as smoothies and freshly
baked bagels, pastries, and desserts (including Chef Jeff's cookies!).
Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday,
8 AM to 11 PM
Saturday and Sunday, 11 AM to 11 PM.
