The newly renovated and expanded Blanchard Campus Center is a meeting place for the entire Mount Holyoke community. Home to the campus store, campus information desk, mailroom, and box office, it also harbors a variety of offices and student organizations, including the Outing Club, the Student Government Association, WMHC-FM Radio, Mount Holyoke News (student newspaper), and Llamarada (yearbook).

Food and drinks are served on two levels. Uncommon Grounds, a coffee bar on the second level, offers hot and cold drinks, including fruit smoothies, and freshly baked pastries and sweets, while on the first level Blanchard Café presents a range of lunch and dinner options, including pizza and calzones hot from a gas-fired brick oven. Blanchard Café participates in the student board plan for lunch (11 am–3 pm) and dinner (3 pm–1 am).

Students can gather in Blanchard's meeting rooms or relax in the various lounge areas: the Intercultural Lounge, the Day Students' Lounge, and the Women's Center. On the first level is the student art gallery, a photocopier, a game room equipped with billiards and a ping-pong table, and snack vending machines. Dances, intimate concerts, lectures, and shows are held in the main café area, which can also be reserved for meetings and events through the Office of Student Programs.

Adjoining the atrium dining space is the 5,000-square-foot Great Room, which offers a two-story glass wall with views of Lower Lake and a range of seating venues, both private and communal. The room was designed so that all tables and chairs can be removed to create a space for concerts and dances.
