Mary Lyon Hall
Mary Lyon Hall, named
after the College's founder, houses the academic administration,
the Office of the President, the dean of enrollment, and various
other administrative offices.
Mary Lyon Hall was built
in 1897 on the site of the Seminary Building after it was destroyed
by fire in 1896. The hall was designed by the architectural firm
of Gardner, Pyne, and Gardner.
Much of the money for
the construction of the hall was given by D. K. Pearson. When the
corner stone was laid, a crayon drawing of Mary Lyon was discovered.
