1 thru 12: Claire with her friends in various poses on and off campus.
“After a few weeks here, when I had started to make friends on my hall, and was starting to really get to know people, I realized that I was dealing with a much different sort of group of people, and that there is every type of woman here, from everywhere. And suddenly I started to look around and see all of the different type of women that were just absolutely from every place that you can imagine. I have been so lucky to be involved with the Milk and Cookies, my a capella group, who really are some of the greatest friends that I have had, who are all different types of women, who have different interests and passions, but, you know, we all share this love for music, and so we are sort of linked by that. And that is like so amazing. And so suddenly I have this — these groups of friends that couldnt be more different and yet, here we all are, finding common interests and things that we share loves for. I think that when you get to Mount Holyoke and you just realize the wealth of information and experiences, and just differences that are represented on this campus, and you sort move past the fact that maybe not everyone is going to look or be just like you. You can find just sort of gems everywhere here. And so it’s been so exciting to get to know women from absolutely everywhere, coming from absolutely the most diverse range of experiences, and finding that they are all potentially great friends, and finding those people who you can get really close to.”
