Naa:

“Well, I have two really close friends on campus, Kristin and Melissa. And Melissa was my first year roommate, and Kristin lived down the hall. My first year in Pearson. And so it’s really kind of fun and great that we’re still friends, that you have this really tight, close bond. Melissa is from Palo Luma, California and Kristin is from Maplewood, New Jersey. And it’s just really cool having friends who live in completely different places, because you get such different perspectives. I mean — you know, what it’s like to live there, just where they come from. Or also even different majors. Because Kristin’s a sociology major, and Melissa is a history major, and I’m a science major. So it’s just really interesting when I come in and I’m talking about organic chemistry, and they’re talking about, you know, gender theories. Our conversations — they teach me a lot and I think like I teach them a lot too, which is really cool. For fun, we go out to dinner quite a lot, in Northampton or in Amherst. And movies, and coffee. I definitely think — to hang out with my friends is a lot of like relaxed time. Just talking, hanging in each other’s rooms, watching movies. Definitely. We don’t really get up and go out and party, or like that. But yeah, it’s a lot of fun. ”
