Math 329: Topics in Geometry (Fall 1999)

General information

Euclidean, affine and projective geometry, from both an historical perspective and as spaces with groups of symmetries (the Klein Erlangen program). Prerequisites: Math 203 and Math 211, or permission of the instructor. This is a new course whose purpose is to give a broad-based introduction to the subject of geometry from an advanced mathematical point of view. It is planned to offer this course on an annual basis.
