Introduction to Macroeconomics

The main textbook for the course is

Karl E. Case and Ray C. Fair (2001) Principles of Macroeconomics 6th edition, Upper Saddle River, NJ: Prentice Hall. It comes with a Active Learning CD.

In addition, there is a reader with essays on current U.S. macro issues: Dollars and Sense (2002) Real World Macro 19th edition.

Both books are available in the Odyssey Bookstore.

In addition, every student is required to read the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, or the New York Times on a daily basis throughout the semester. A subscription (possibly shared with another student) to one of these papers is strongly recommended.
