GRADING Econ 104  Introduction to Macroeconomics

    There will be four exams, three in the course of the semester and one at the end. In addition, there will be occasional homework assignments. I will not always grade them, but you are expected to do them and be ready to discuss them. If you don't know how to use Excel, I recommend that you take one of the workshops offered by LITS.

    Each student is required to read the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, or the New York Times on a daily basis throughout the semester. A subscription (possible shared with another student) to one of these papers is strongly recommended. 

    I expect that you attend classes regularly and participate actively through questions and comments.  

 Grade Distribution:

                                        Economic Journal                     15 %

                                        Homework Assignments          10 %

                                        Class Participation                    5 %
