To the members of the class of 1955:

We are excited to know that you will be participating in our interview on April 30, 2004. As you know, the event will be held from 2pm until 5pm at the Willits Hallowell Center at Mount Holyoke. There will be snacks and refreshments provided, so feel free to arrive a little early to say hi and mingle.

Below are a few more details about the event and questions for you.

First, we would like to know if you plan to bring partners or other additional guests. If we can get a count of expected guests we can plan for a way to include them in our program. If you are planning to bring a partner, please contact Eleanor Townsley in the Sociology Department at xxx-xxx-xxxx or online at etownsle@mtholyoke.edu.

Second, we would like to ask you bring a keepsake from your time at Mount Holyoke. Such memorabilia might include your admission letter to Mount Holyoke, other correspondence, clothing, or a photograph (rather than a photo album). We ask only that the keepsake is meaningful to you in some way.

Third, we would also like to offer you the opportunity to participate in an affiliated project (experiment!) in which members of the Sociology 224 class would interview you individually in a more formal video reflection. If you are interested, please see the enclosed information.

We are really looking forward to meeting you on April 30. If you would like to know more about what is going on in our class, again, feel free to visit our class website at http://www.mtholyoke.edu/courses/etownsle/soc224/index.html.

Sincerely,

Eleanor Townsley and the students of Sociology 224

If you will be on the MHC campus on the evening of Friday April 30th or the morning of Saturday, May 1st, please consider participating in this project.

Participants can schedule appointments or make further inquiries calling Alexis Lewis at xxx-xxx-xxxx or emailing her at xxxxxxxx@mtholyoke.edu.
